Résumé of AAS 2014
The Closed Forum, exclusively addressing members of the Airpas Community, gave an in-depth insight into enhancements and novelties of the system. Current topics such as Electronic Data Interchange, Business Intelligence and workflow integration with airpas were presented and discussed in great detail.
The Open Forum was also attended by potential customers - experts from, or related to, the aviation industry and press. With speakers from global players such as Emirates and IATA the audience got the very latest information on current initiatives. The white paper “Route Profitability – the clash between reality and self-perception”, the result of a recent study by the International University of Applied Sciences in Bad Honnef in co-operation with Airpas, was well received and proved a great basis for discussion as did the topic of Fuel Risk Management.
And, despite heavy rainfall, the absolute highlight was the evening cruise on the 3-masts tallship “Thalassa” to join the festivities of the world’s greatest port festival “Hamburg Hafengeburtstag”. Airpas Aviation and its partner PROLOGIS AG jointly hosted this event for their guests. And, it didn’t take long for the sun to come out again.
