Airpas Community - into another year

August 2013 - About a year ago the Airpas Community was founded with three goals in mind: increase market awareness by prominently positioning our solutions within the aviation industry, improve product development by encouraging more customer involvement, and grow revenues by driving innovative initiatives.

Since then we have experienced a constant growth of membership and are about to see the 100th member joining us soon. We are also proud to have representatives from all our airline customers actively involved in the Airpas Community who enjoy working among industry forward-thinking experts and who are as excited as we are to embrace trends and to move airpas forward.

And because we see our clients as real people with real interest in product enhancements and new features, we presented a potpourri of different webcasts throughout the year. In return the Community values us as true partners and was very supportive in providing feedback to our conducted survey on “airpas - impressive numbers and benefits”.

Executive Lounge – the goal of sharing ideas and developing possible solutions
The recently launched Airpas Executive Lounge complements the Airpas Community and offers an immersive environment for our customer executives to come together to explore common challenges and to develop innovative solutions that will move our industry forward.

A dozen customer key players accepted our invitation to attend the first Executive Lounge in the German Taunus region in June – we know that special locations can keep the feeling of executive meetings fresh, which in turn helps to keep participants focused. The purpose of exploring innovative ideas, gather insights and embrace trends was more than achieved.

To liven up the strategic meeting each session started with a brief trigger presentation by one of our customers followed by an intense brainstorming session relative to the respective topic.

We finished the Executive Lounge with invaluable information and insight on mobile devices (Flight Data Capture) and the benefits of automated electronic data checking (EDI).

First joined approach for increasing the number of EDI-suppliers
As a first tremendous result Airpas will soon start a campaign to increase the number of suppliers providing EDI invoices. All participants of the Executive Lounge confirmed their willingness to participate in this joined approach. Shortly we will circulate a list of suitable suppliers to our customers to get their ranking.
