Royal Air Maroc Takes Off With airpas
Airpas Aviation today announced its appointment by Royal Air Maroc (RAM) to strengthen the airline’s profitability growth in the coming years by supporting the management of its fuel and general cost control, in particular airport and navigation charges. Royal Air Maroc is the first large airline in the MENA region to join the airpas community of airlines.

Airpas Aviation will supply RAM with the airpas software for managing the procurement and payments processes for all their Fuel supplies, Airport Charges, and Navigation. In addition Airpas Aviation will provide a modern and highly effective management information and reporting functionality. Furthermore, RAM opts for eMission, the Airpas software for managing the recent EU Emissions Trading Scheme requirements.
Royal Air Maroc, the flag carrier airline for Morocco, operates 55 aircraft to 80 domestic and international destinations and is the first airline in Africa to operate the Boeing 787 and has the largest 737s fleet in Africa. Further fleet expansion is expected in the coming years.
In 2004, the low-cost subsidiary Atlas Blue was set up with its main base in Marrakesh for charter and scheduled services to destinations in Europe.
